Description Local health care facility is seeking a Drug and Alcohol Therapist. This individual will be responsible for collaborating with counselors, physicians, and nurses to plan and coordinate treatment, conduct social research to advance knowledge in the social work field, counsel and aid family members to assist them in understanding, dealing with, and supporting the client, counsel clients in individual and group sessions to assist them in dealing with substance abuse, mental and physical illness, poverty, unemployment, or physical abuse, and other duties as required. This position is full time day shift at 40 hours per week and has a competitive salary. Requisite skills, knowledge and experience: Masters’ Degree preferred, will consider Bachelors’ Degree and CAC Experience in residential treatment. Knowledge of 12 Step Recovery Program.
