Master’s degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, psychology, addictions studies, social work or related field and 2 years of counseling experience in a health or human service agency.
One (1) year of counseling experience in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting, is required.
Hold a Professional License (ie
LPC, LCSW, LMFT
), OR have a credential through PCB (ie CAADC) preferred OR be actively working toward licensure or certification preferred.

Parkside Recovery is a nationally recognized Opioid Center of Excellence dedicated to providing comprehensive care and support to individuals on their journey to recovery. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to delivering evidence-based therapies and personalized treatment plans to address the complex needs of persons in recovery (PIR). Parkside Recovery is situated across the street from Fairmount Park and close to the Please Touch Museum, offering gated parking.
As a Drug and Alcohol Therapist at Parkside Recovery, you will play a pivotal role in the treatment and support of PIR.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing individual therapy and group therapy sessions to PIR enrolled in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Medication Management Therapy (MMT), and non-MAT services.
Conducting thorough assessments of clients to identify their unique needs and challenges, and making appropriate referrals to additional services or resources as necessary.
Managing a caseload of clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and adherence to all documentation requirements in a timely manner.
