We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who would like to join a small Montessori school located in Plantation. To be eligible for hire, potential employees must be available to work Monday through Friday from 2:00PM – 5:30/6:00PM. This would be a great opportunity for someone currently enrolled in college seeking a teaching degree… set schedule and set number of hours per week, weekends off, holidays off! Counselors will ensure the safety of the children as they take them through an afternoon schedule of activities including snack, outdoor play, arts & crafts, music and more! Ideal candidate is CREATIVE, patient, kind, reliable and hard-working. Must be open to working with a variety of age groups, starting from 18 months to 4th grade. Must be able to maintain a lesson plan of activities, accurate records of attendance and the classroom clean and organized. A positive attitude is also a must! Must have a High School Diploma or GED Must clear a federal and local background check Must have or be willing to get 45 hours of DCF Child Care Courses Previous experience in an aftercare setting is a plus!
