Full Job Description Position Overview:

The Mental Health Counselor at Enriched Life Counseling & Consulting will provide outpatient individual and group therapy to children and adolescents. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, compassionate care while adhering to the company’s mission of promoting wellness and reducing mental health stigma. The Mental Health Counselor will work to build strong relationships within the community and support clients in their journey towards improved mental health and well-being.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide outpatient individual and group therapy to children and adolescents. Perform clinical counseling services as scheduled, in accordance with company policies. Ensure regular, reliable attendance and timely arrival at work. Maintain a clinical caseload of 25 clients per week. Maintain proper licensure and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical codes. Respond to patient requests within 24 hours and provide necessary services. Communicate with a patient’s treatment team as necessary. Complete and maintain timely and accurate patient records, including intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, and termination notes, within 24 hours. Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions. Conduct counseling services professionally to uphold the reputation of Enriched Life Counseling & Consulting. Collaborate with coworkers respectfully and cooperatively. Support and help grow team members. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

Align with the mission, vision, and values of Enriched Life Counseling & Consulting. Punctuality and reliable reporting to work. Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. Preferably, prior experience in a private practice setting. At least three years’ post-unrestricted licensure experience. Specialization in at least one niche market (e.g., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, grief, anger management).

Education:

Master’s or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work. Active, unrestricted license (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC or LCPC) in the State of Florida. A copy must be provided.
