The Youth Leader will play a pivotal role in fostering personal growth, encouraging teamwork, and promoting positive values among children and adolescents. This position requires a commitment to creating an engaging atmosphere where youth can thrive socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Duties Develop and implement engaging programs and activities tailored to the interests and needs of youth participants. Foster a safe and supportive environment by practicing effective classroom management techniques. Supervise and mentor children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Collaborate with parents, educators, and community members to promote youth development initiatives. Organize sports coaching sessions to encourage physical fitness and teamwork among participants. Facilitate discussions on childhood development topics, including emotional intelligence and conflict resolution. Assist in planning camps or retreats that focus on personal growth, leadership skills, and spiritual development. Offer Christian counseling when appropriate, providing guidance based on faith-based principles. Experience Candidates should possess experience or skills in one or more Early childhood education or special education Classroom management techniques Childcare experience in various settings such as camps or after-school programs Sports coaching or physical education experience Administration Knowledge of childhood development principles Familiarity with Christian counseling practices The ideal candidate will demonstrate a genuine passion for working with youth, strong communication skills, and the ability to create meaningful connections with children.
