Summer Camp Counselor Years To Grow 1306 Fortune Road, Youngsville, LA 70592 Camp Counselor Job Responsibilities and Duties Supervises campers and ensures their safety, development, growth, skill achievement, and general well-being. Coordinates with other staff members to manage events and activities. Ensures that campers are compliant to camp rules. Promotes and maintains a fun and safe learning environment. Maintains and cleans camp facilities and equipment. Responds to and properly addresses any incidents, behavioral problems and accidents that may occur during activities. Ensuring that campers have a fun and memorable experience is paramount. Success in this role will be demonstrated by children’s participation and satisfaction with activities. Camp Counselor Job Requirements Enjoys being in the company of children. Energetic, enthusiastic, and positive attitude Engaging and interactive with campers. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Physical capacity to lead outdoor activities. Alert, patient and reliable. Caring personality. Problem solving skills. First aid and CPR certification are preferred.
