Camp Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors for our camp from June 2nd
- July 25th, 2025.
As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a fun and safe environment for campers. This is a paid position that offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic setting.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage campers in various activities, including sports, arts and crafts, theater, and games
- Provide guidance and support to campers in developing social skills and positive behavior
- Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times
- Assist with planning and implementing daily schedules and activities
- Collaborate with other counselors and staff to create a positive camp experience
- Serve as a role model for campers by demonstrating respect, responsibility, and teamwork
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding camper progress and concerns
Qualifications:
- At least 21 years old
- Experience in sports coaching, theater, special education, or childhood development is preferred
- First aid & CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with children of all ages
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques
- Previous experience working with students or tutoring is beneficial
