Primary Role:

The primary role of the Youth Coordinator is to develop an exciting age appropriate environment for youth grades 5-12 to learn about Jesus.

You are: in love with Jesus and have a growing relationship with Him, gifted with youth, a relentless recruiter, a leader of leaders, up-to-date on the latest trends and expectations for youth ministry, a people-gatherer who loves to both work hard and have fun, who can develop people and build healthy teams, passionate, detail oriented, organized and a great vision caster.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Partner with parents to help families grow in their relationship with Jesus. Craft a large group small group youth service. Raise up leaders to lead age and gender specific small groups. Develop team of volunteers for Youth teams Communicate the schedule with the team Collaborate with the Family Pastor about Youth ministry events Communicate the standards of excellence with various team leaders Recap and discuss highs and lows in youth with ministry leaders Help provide ongoing training for youth team members and team leaders Plan and coordinate youth events, including retreats, conferences, and community service projects Provide crisis intervention and support to youth facing personal challenges or difficult situations Mentor and guide youth in their spiritual growth and development Manage conflicts that may arise within the youth group and facilitate resolution Handle crisis situations that may occur during youth activities or events Provide Christian counseling to youth who may be struggling with various issues

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with youth in a pastoral or counseling role Strong understanding of Christian principles and value Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to connect with and relate to youth from diverse backgrounds Strong organizational and event planning skills As a Youth Pastor, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people. You will play a vital role in guiding them through their spiritual journey, providing support during challenging times, and helping them develop into strong individuals with a solid foundation in their faith.
