Summer Camp Counselor Walk Leap Grow Early Learning Center Fairburn, GA 30213 Walk Leap Grow Early Learning Center is seeking enthusiastic, creative, and energetic Summer Camp Counselors/Teachers to join our team for the 2025 summer season! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact by creating fun, enriching experiences for children in a lively, engaging environment. As a Summer Camp Counselor/Teacher, you will lead daily activities that promote physical, social, and emotional development while ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in your care. We’re looking for positive role models who are team-oriented, dependable, and passionate about working with children during this exciting, fast-paced season.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times Develop and lead age-appropriate, hands-on summer camp activities (indoor and outdoor) Foster a fun, inclusive, and supportive camp environment Support social-emotional development and encourage group cooperation Communicate effectively and professionally with campers, staff, and parents Assist in organizing field trips, special events, and daily routines Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging learning space Follow all center policies and licensing regulations • Qualifications Experience working with children in a camp or educational setting Strong childcare skills and knowledge of childhood development Certification in First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain) Ability to manage classroom behavior and implement effective teaching strategies Background in special education or tutoring is a plus Familiarity with sports coaching, theater, or other recreational activities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
