About the Position Second-level vocational Youth Services employee responsible for ensuring safety and security and providing treatment services to youth within a specific unit. Ensuring safety includes monitoring activity, behavior, and movement of youth both within a residential setting or while escorting youth off grounds and performing physical counts. Employees also facilitate treatment programming to youth (e.g., youth advocate, group facilitation, create and/or deliver treatment activities, etc.). Employees may also assist in the educational program. What you’ll need to be Successful Excellent Communication Skills, Ability to Conduct Oneself in an Ethical Manner, Excellent Interpersonal Skills, Ability to Adapt Quickly, Ability to maintain confidentiality, and an Advocate for Children.
