JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and fun-loving individuals to join our summer team as a Youth Camp Counselor at Hope Valley Country Club. Camp Counselors will create a safe, engaging, and memorable experience for children ages 4-10 years old, leading them through games, crafts, sports, and themed activities as part of our country club’s youth summer program.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONISBILITIES
Supervise and ensure the safety of campers at all times Lead daily activities including sports, arts & crafts, swimming, and group games Encourage participation and foster a positive, inclusive environment Assist with setup and cleanup of activities and camp areas Report directly to Camp Supervisor/Lead and communicate effectively with Camp Lead, parents, fellow staff, and club members Follow all club policies and procedures, including emergency protocols Be a positive role model, demonstrating respect, teamwork, and leadership
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 16+ years of age
- Prior experience working with children preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, responsible, and energetic
- Ability to work outdoors and be active throughout the day
- Employees will be given a full background check

- Must be able to work all four weeks of camp Monday-Friday 8:30am-4pm
