EPIC Camp Counselor 2.5 2.5 out of 5 stars Durham, NH USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app The camp counselor supports the daily operations of a robotics and engineering-focused computing camp for upper elementary and middle school students. Working under the guidance of the camp instructor, the counselor helps facilitate activities, supervises campers, and ensures a safe learning environment. This is an ideal role for individuals interested in STEM education, youth mentorship, and hands-on learning. Duties/Responsibilities Assist the camp instructor with daily activities and lessons facilitation. Supervise and engage with campers to ensure a safe and inclusive environment. Help with general camp organization, e.g. setup and cleanup. Support campers during hands-on activities and group projects. Communicate camper needs or concerns to the instructor as needed. Minimum Qualifications Enthusiasm for working with youth in grades 4-8 in a camp or educational setting. Interest in robotics and computing (no formal experience required). Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with campers, peers, and instructors. Dependable, responsible, and willing to take initiative. Must be at least 15 years and available for all scheduled camp sessions and required training.
