Must have experience with children, love being outdoors and must be 18 years of age or older. Looking for fun, loving, warm and energetic people in the Bayville area. We are looking for Camp Counselors to supervise our campers aged 3 to 13 and make sure they have fun. The most important out of all Camp Counselor duties is to ensure campers are safe at all times. You’ll be responsible for overseeing their activities, providing personal care to our youngest campers, and ensuring they don’t get hurt. The job duties of a Camp Counselor include planning summer camp games, educating children and setting up materials and equipment. Being reliable and able to build good relationships with children are two essential traits of a Camp Counselor. You need to have knowledge of outdoor activities, like ball games, gardening, and swimming. Skills Proven experience as Camp Counselor or similar role working with children Familiarity with outdoor activities Patient and reliable Organizational and communication skills A love for children Energetic and positive personality Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (strength and stamina to follow strenuous activities like ball games, running, crouching or carrying children) First aid- and CPR-certified preferred (will train, if needed)
