Position Summary:
Day Camp Counselor A Future Stars Day Camp Counselor is responsible for the supervision of campers while ensuring a safe and fun learning environment. Counselors participate in all camp activities, and serve as a positive role model for campers.
Position Objective:
(Essential Job Responsibilities) Group supervision of campers with attention to: group management and behavior, health, safety, security, and personal and skill development. Build positive relationships and ensure the safety and well-being of people of all ages Promote and actively participate in all camper activities and projects Swim with campers and assist camp swim instructors Work effectively with co-counselors and collaborate on daily responsibilities
Duration:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30
PM Benefits:
Full time summer position with additional pay available for optional AM and PM extended hours. A generous staff referral program is available for all employees to earn bonus pay.
