Job Description
Decedent Transport D & L Removal and Transport, Inc. Sarasota, FL D&L Removal and Transport, Inc. is a veteran owned, mortuary transport company servicing Southwest Florida and surrounding areas. We prepare and transport decedents from their place of death (residence, nursing homes, hospitals and accident/crime scenes) to a facility (funeral home, crematory or medical examiner). Employees must show empathy and compassion to the families that we encounter. Employees must be able to work independently and also with a team. Employees are required to be on call for consecutive 24-hour shifts. 4 days on/3 days off or 3days on/4 days off. For more information about hours and pay please call 941-888-5985 Employees are required to depart for calls within 15 minutes of receiving information from our dispatch team. •Must live in Venice, Sarasota or Bradenton•Florida drivers license and clean driving record is required. Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and squat. Professional, conservative dress code. No facial piercings. Tattoos must be covered by clothing. Good reading and writing skills required. Must be available on holidays Retired police, fire, military and funeral professionals are encouraged to apply. Pre-employment background check and drug testing are required.
