- The Butts County Sheriff’s Office is looking for (2) School Resource Officers who are POST Mandated Sheriff’s Deputies.
Take home car. On the job training. Paid Holidays and Vacation time. Retirement – 2% x years of service with a 5 year vest. Position requires a 2 year commitment, then may request to be moved to another division within the agency. Potential for advancement into specialized units (i.e. ICE Team, SWAT Team, SRO’s, CAGE Team, Narcotics, Criminal Investigations) SRO’s work when teachers are at school.
