Full Job Description Description:
This part-time position is offering up to 20 hours per week. Responsible for distributing individual commissary snack products to inmates in housing units within Cabarrus County Jail in Concord, NC. Responsible for receiving, separating, and preparing individual inmate commissary orders for distribution to inmates in the respective assigned housing locations. Distributing individual commissary orders to inmates at times and locations as directed by the facility administrator. Properly handling product shortages or damages for orders within company and facility policy. Caring for and maintaining any on-site products and keeping the work areas clean. Assisting in maintaining equipment necessary to carry out the commissary functions at the assigned facility. Act as liaison with facility staff and inmates on a day to day basis. Work closely with the Field Operations Manager and Site Coordinator to provide best in class service to the assigned facility including reporting service or relationship issues immediately.
Requirements:
Ability to successfully pass and maintain a criminal background check and drug screen. Read and comprehend documentation written at a nationally accepted high school level. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Have the ability to work in a secure corrections environment. Possess excellent organizational and time management skills. Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods Lift items weighing up to sixty (60) pounds to a height of 54 inches Ability to push, pull or drag up to one hundred (100) pounds of weight Ability to communicate verbally Ability to work well individually and as part of a team M/F/Vets/Disabled and other protected categories
