Role:
Perform tests and/or measurement tasks for the Ballistics department.
Ballistics:
Testing of energetic and inert projectiles, typically bullets, missiles and bombs.
Responsibilities:
Test Setup
- Read specifications from technical documents (Test Standards, Customer SOWs, and Test Plans/Procedures), identify/prepare test equipment
Perform Testing - Monitor tests per specifications, interact with customers if needed, troubleshoot, and document all pertinent data
Data Processing - After test completion, verify, review and document all pertinent data. Finalize data and send to the Program Manager
Lab Maintenance / Post-Test Breakdown - Physically remove test items. Maintain lab by cleaning all equipment, keeping calibrated instruments current, & organizing supplies
Other - Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Military Ballistics training
Basic knowledge of Ballistics & Mechanical principles
working knowledge of basic safety practices
Basic MS Office Skills
