Role:
Seeking a seasoned fraud prevention professional to help establish and mature our fraud investigation capabilities. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience combating fraud in the telecommunications, ISP, or digital services sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement a comprehensive fraud investigation department from the ground up. Identify, analyze, and mitigate various types of fraud, including: Subscription fraud SIM swap fraud Impersonation fraud SMiShing (SMS phishing) Roaming fraud Collaborate with internal teams to develop fraud detection strategies and response protocols. Stay current with emerging fraud trends and technologies in the telecom and online services space.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in fraud prevention and investigation, preferably within telecoms, ISPs, or online services. Strong understanding of fraud typologies and mitigation techniques. Experience setting up or scaling fraud operations or investigative teams.
Relevant certifications such as:
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) Certified Financial Crime Specialist (CFCS)
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with fraud detection tools and analytics platforms. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
