The Senior Data Analyst, Clinical Evidence Strategy andImplementation will have the opportunity to: Analyze hundreds of thousands of heterogeneous medical recordsincluding lab results, medical history, instrument measurements,hospital procedures, etc. Interpret complex real-world clinical data. Clearly communicate findings with statistics and datavisualization to drive evidence-based decisions. Evaluate data errors, trends, and collection issues; presentfindings/recommendations to clinical teams and management forresolution. Serve as a liaison between key stakeholders from Data Science,Medical and Scientific Affairs, and Marketing teams to ensure dataquality processes are implemented and followed. Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements forClient projects and support with building the infrastructurerequired for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading ofdata from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, AWS, andAzure. Support data management for clinical studies, such as datamanagement plan, eCRF design, non-product software validation andadjudication strategy. Identify, design, document and implement continuous processimprovements such as interpretation and strategy of clinical dataissues. Utilize clinical expertise to advise on specific targets forpredictive models with endless possibilities to explore. Be involved with the full cycle of problem definition, dataacquisition, organization, and data exploration and outcomephenotyping for Clinical Decision Support (CDS) Solutions.
Theessential requirements of the job include: Bachelors degree (Master’s preferred) in clinical data science,data analytics, statistics, life sciences or related fields with 5+years of experience. 3+ years of experience with Electronic Medical Record data(Epic, Cerner, etc.). Require experience with Python for data analysis andvisualization. Knowledge of statistical computing, machine learning, and datavisualization tools. Experience with shared data science development and analyticsenvironments. Experienced with real-world clinical data managementdocumentation to support regulatory submissions. Ability to effectively summarize results from analysis to adiverse set of audiences with varying backgrounds and technicalskills. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-pacedenvironment. Strict attention to detail. Must be able to work in a team environment, includingcross-departmental teams and key contact representing theorganization on projects. Ability to interact with senior internal and external personnelon significant matters often requiring coordination betweenorganizations. Willingness to travel occasionally as needed (up to 10%)required.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experiencein: Experience in the fields of clinical informatics to improvehealth outcomes. Understanding QMS processes for medical devices.
