Southern Imaging Services is a team of friendly, ambitious professionals coming to work to provide exceptional care to our patients while having a great time working together. We are currently looking for an FT Billing Specialist at our Roswell office. We are seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join our SIS team, working out of our Roswell location. The role of the Billing Specialist is to serve as the billing and collections specialist for the company and its related/managed entities. Our ideal candidate will have medical billing experience as well as accounts receivable experience. Billing Specialist Responsibilities Assist in the coding of clinical and/or surgical encounters Ensure that clinical codes are properly entered by providers and push clean claims/statements to payer sources Understand/Use multiple software systems to track account balances Work collaboratively in group email boxes Effectively work daily task log Accept virtual payments Follow up on denied/delayed clams and craft proper denials Explain benefits and/or EOBs to patients Set up patient payment plans

Requirements:

Billing Specialist Requirements High School diploma or greater with 3+ years of medical office experience or the equivalent. Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork, and problem-solving to achieve goals Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication and listening Demonstrated skills in providing excellent service to customers A high level of integrity and trust-ability to keep information confidential Surgery Billing is preferred but not required Workers comp experience preferred Billing Specialist Benefits and Perks Great benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and multiple add-ons available.
