DCH is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Criminal Investigator I position with the Georgia Composite Medical Board . This is a hybrid position that requires in-office and remote work with the approval of your supervisor. Your days of frequency in the office can change at any time during your employment based on the business needs of the organization. Under general supervision, this role involves investigating potential violations of laws and regulations to determine if sufficient evidence exists for prosecution or further action by the appropriate authority. Responsibilities include collaborating with other agencies, conducting background checks, managing a caseload of 10-20 cases, collecting and verifying evidence through interviews and record analysis, and preparing detailed reports. The position also involves training to identify key case elements and using software to manage financial data and evidence, along with performing additional duties as assigned.
