Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field. Two years of experience as a sworn staff member in law enforcement or corrections. Two years of experience in criminal and/or administrative investigations. Completion of Basic Law Enforcement (PBLE) Certification. Completion of Basic Correctional Officer Training (BCOT) Certification. (Entry pay: $55,326.56 and Entry pay with mandate: $64,900.95).
NOTE:
This position is in the Southeast Region and is located at Smith State Prison in Glennville, Georgia. The selected applicant must reside 50 miles or less from the facility.
