Job Description

Manager of Investigations 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars Harrisburg, PA 17110 Oversees the daily operations of the Investigations department, ensuring the effective delivery of investigative services tailored to client needs. Responsibilities include conducting initial and ongoing consultations to assess investigative objectives, gathering background information, prioritizing case elements, and developing customized investigative strategies that align with legal and ethical standards. Serves as the primary liaison for clients, requiring exceptional communication skills to provide timely updates, manage expectations, maintaining engagement with the client throughout the investigative process. Maintains strict confidentiality and delivers professional, results-driven support from case initiation to resolution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct and oversee field investigations ensuring they are in line with legal standards and internal policies Supervise, mentor and support a team of investigators Allocate cases and monitor investigation progress and workload balance Serve as the point person for complex investigations Review and approve investigation reports to ensure quality, consistency and accuracy Develop and implement investigative standards, protocols and procedures Ensure timely resolution of cases while maintaining due process and confidentiality Coordinate with internal departments when investigations require cross-functional collaboration Maintain proper documentation, evidence handling and secure recordkeeping Prepare accurate and timely billing to invoice clients Education, Experience and Skills High School diploma or equivalent required. Degree in Criminal Justice, Business Law or related field preferred Three (3) to five (5) years of investigative experience required; previous leadership experience preferred Previous law enforcement experience preferred Excellent analytical, critical thinking and decision-making abilities required Excellent written and verbal communication, especially in drafting clear and defensible investigation reports required Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to investigations required Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in sensitive situations Proficiency with investigation software and tools, including case management systems Why INA?
