Job Description
Title:
Lunchroom Supervisor
Reports to: Principal
Position Summary:
The role of the Lunchroom Supervisor is to monitor the daily routines of students both eating lunch and/or at recess.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily routines of the cafeteria and/or playground including indoor and outdoor environments;
- Responsible for reporting any issues with the maintenance of playground equipment; ? Notify teachers/administration of any challenging behaviors of students;
- Supports the social/emotional needs of students and behavior plans;
- Assist students with basic needs during lunch duties such as cutting food, opening packages and cleaning up spills;
- Take children to the restroom or school nurse as needed;
- Answer questions from students and staff;
- Administer basic first-aid as needed;
- Other related duties as assigned.
