Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Preferred:
1 or more years of relevant work experience, preferably in educational settings.

No Purpose:
Oversees large groups of children within the lunchroom to manage student safety and maintain a stable environment.

Essential Job Functions:
- Attend work in a regular, reliable and punctual manner.
- Ensure all students remain safe by preventing fighting and other causes of injury.
- Clean tables, chairs, condiment areas, and other locations within the lunchroom.
- Fill napkin dispensers, straw containers, and utensil holders to ensure students have to tools necessary to eat their meals.
- Clean up small messes that are not significant enough to require custodial services.
- Ensure that children eat their lunches before the lunch period ends.
- Follow school disciplinary guidelines when dealing with student behavioral issues.
- Dismiss children at the end of lunch periods, ensuring all students return to class on time.
- Other assigned duties
