JOB PURPOSE
The Lunch Coach will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all children in the program while delivering high quality, fun, safe and interactive recess.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors and responds to student behavior at meal times. Reports incidents requiring discipline. Assists with playground equipment. Maintains an effective working relationship with school faculty, staff and students. Maintains high standards of work habits, sanitation and safety. Understands, follows, and gives oral and written directions. •

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
High school diploma/GED required Experience working with school-age children in a recreational program and/or leading and instructing large groups of school-age children in organized activities First Aid and CPR certification preferred Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment toward the job and the mission of the company; supports the company’s values in the strategic areas of academic excellence, operational performance, superior culture, and financial health and growth, as outlined in the Employee Handbook. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with CSUSA salary and benefit policy. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by Charter Schools USA. This document does not create an employment contract, implied or otherwise, other than an “at will” relationship.
FLSA OVERTIME CATEGORY
Job is non-exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
