Cafeteria Monitor Grand Island

Anticipated Work Location/Hours:
Veronica Connor Middle School Monday-Friday – 10:40 am to 12:55 pm
Salary:
$20.25/hr per
SRP Contract Duties:
Circulate among students to supervise behavior and attend to students’ needs such as obtaining lunch, opening containers, providing utensils, and helping with hand-washing. Maintain allergen-free spaces. Maintain tables and floor in order to assure a safe and healthy environment. Establish a positive culture for students. Follow directions from supervisors.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma or four years’ experience in the care and supervision of children/students. Must enjoy working with high-school aged students. Ability to stand and walk around for a minimum of two (2) hours. Commitment to reliability and punctuality.
Qualifications Desired:
Prior experience working with adolescents. Familiarity with cafeteria procedures preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
