Provide supervision to students in the cafeteria to ensure a safe environment. P osition
Information:
Part-Time, no benefits Monday through Friday work schedule; 184 days per year 10:00 am – 1:15 pm, 3.25 hours per day Hours may vary based on the daily schedule
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide supervision to large groups of students in the cafeteria, gym and outdoor recreational area during lunch and recess. Coordinate lunch dismissal of students at appropriate times. Disinfect tables and chairs in the cafeteria. Clean up spills and remaining litter as needed. Encourage good manners and appropriate student behavior. Assist students and staff as necessary. Communicate with teachers and the principal concerning issues that arise. Monitor work area for unauthorized persons and follow established protocol. Maintain seating charts and record attendance on rosters for all lunches. Monitor student interactions and positively intervene when students need corrective action. Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent necessary
