Document Control Coordinator

AUTHORITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Control and issue of engineering documents including drawings, technical manuals and vendor drawings Issue, receive and track to Production, Client and Regulatory Body Tracking all issued documents through their approval process. Upload and download documents to secure websites Confer with document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compile required changes to documents. Operation of reproduction equipment. Expedite Vendor Furnished Information (VFI) with Austal suppliers.

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor degree preferred but AA degree required Minimum two plus years’ experience in drawing and technical document control Demonstrated time management skills Proven organizational abilities Excellent written and oral communication skills Confidentiality with ITAR related information required Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines Ability to read drawings would be advantageous Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Experience working in an Integrated Date Environment (IDE) and familiarity with uploading/downloading documents preferred
