Records Specialist 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Atlanta, GA • Remote Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Records Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing records in accordance with established policies and procedures. This role is essential for ensuring compliance with information governance standards and maintaining the integrity of our document management systems. The Records Specialist will play a crucial role in digitizing records, implementing taxonomy systems, and supporting overall archives management. Duties Develop and maintain effective records management systems to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with regulatory requirements. Implement taxonomy structures for efficient document classification and organization. Digitize physical records to enhance accessibility and reduce storage needs. Manage the lifecycle of records, including retention schedules, archiving, and disposal in accordance with compliance management guidelines. Collaborate with various departments to ensure proper documentation practices are followed. Assist in audits related to records management and information governance. Provide administrative support related to records inquiries and documentation processes. Experience Proven experience in records management or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with document management systems, particularly iManage, is a plus. Knowledge of compliance management practices and information governance frameworks. Experience in archives management and understanding of best practices for maintaining historical documents. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in handling files and records. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
