Purpose:
As a Document Control II at Worley, you will be responsible for overseeing the document management processes across various projects, ensuring that all documentation is accurately logged, managed, and issued via the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity and accessibility of project documentation, supporting Worley’s commitment to delivering sustainable and efficient solutions in the energy, chemicals, and resources sectors.
Responsibilities:
Document Management Oversight:
Lead the implementation and maintenance of document control procedures, ensuring compliance with Worley’s standards and client requirements.
EDMS Administration:
Manage the EDMS, ensuring accurate logging, tracking, and retrieval of all project documents, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all documentation is reviewed for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards before distribution.
Team Coordination:
Provide guidance and support to document control staff, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as the primary interface between project personnel, clients, and other stakeholders for all document control matters.
Training and Support:
Develop and deliver training sessions on document control procedures and EDMS usage to project teams and external partners.
Reporting:
Generate regular reports on document control activities, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement. What you will bring
Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:
Experience:
Extensive experience in document control within engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) projects, preferably in the energy, chemicals, or resources sectors.
Technical Proficiency:
Advanced knowledge of EDMS platforms (e.g., Aconex) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with
ISO 9001
standards is beneficial.
Analytical Skills:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze and improve document control processes.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of effectively interacting with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Leadership Abilities:
Demonstrated capability to lead and mentor a team, manage workloads, and drive process improvements.
Organizational Skills:
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.

Training and Relocation The successful candidate will undergo an initial training period at one of Worley’s designated offices to familiarize themselves with company systems, processes, and project requirements. Upon completion of the training program, the individual will be assigned to the project site located in Cameron, Louisiana. This transition is essential to support the project’s documentation needs effectively and to ensure seamless integration into the project team. Education –

Required:
Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
Preferred:
