Quality Specialist Job Description We are seeking a Quality Specialist to assist Quality Engineers with documentation, process setup, and installing PPAPs. This role involves ensuring the training, proper use, and updating of quality systems. Responsibilities Assist quality engineers with documentation and process setup. Install PPAPs and ensure proper use and updates of quality systems. Update Gensuite/CAR System or create SharePoint, ensuring regular updates (daily/weekly) correctly and completely. Attend meetings to ensure team compliance and training on Gensuite System, 8D methodology, 5why, fishbone, A3, and Problem Solving Workbook. Update Quality Alert System/File or create SharePoint, ensuring regular updates (daily/weekly) and sign off understanding of QA files. Use omnex or create SharePoint to update PPAP system, ensuring PPAPs are processed from supplier to customer. Update Return System or create SharePoint, processing RMA’s issued dates and returns timely (2-3 days after received). Notify QE/Customer service if not received to reject complaints. Align with quality engineers on processing CARs, RMA’s, PPAPs, Quality Alerts, Containment, etc., step by step. Qualifications Previous quality experience in a manufacturing environment Documentation review Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word SharePoint MS Teams Computer operation PPAP High School diploma required Work Environment The work environment involves regular use of computer systems and software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, SharePoint, and MS Teams. The quality specialist will attend meetings and collaborate with departments to ensure compliance and proper documentation processes. The role requires attention to detail and timely processing of returns.
