Job Description
Document Control Administrator 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Henrietta, NY Document Control Administrator A Document Control Administrator’s will be responsible in managing and maintaining O’Connell’s documentation system, ensuring its accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This involves overseeing document lifecycles, controlling version changes, and ensuring the right people have access to the correct information.
Key Responsibilities:
Print and distribute documents as needed. Scan and upload documents according to company procedure. Collect and register all technical documents such as drawings and blueprints in the company’s system. Review and update documents for maintenance and quality control. Manage submittal and RFI process for multiple projects across the company. This will involve gaining knowledge in different management software including ProjectWise, Procore, ProjectTeams, Sharefile, etc. Keep other personnel updated on new document versions and how to obtain access. Handle records across various departments. Create templates for use by other personnel. Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive documents. Establish and maintain record retention timelines.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or higher in computer Science, business administration or similar field. Must have 5 plus years of administrative experience Experience working with many types of files. Ability to organize and preserve paper documents. Thorough knowledge of various kinds of office software. Attention to detail. Effective communication with coworkers across departments. Ability to switch work priority as need with ease.
Compensation:
The minimum and maximum rate of pay that O’Connell Electric Company, Inc. believes in good faith to be accurate for this position at the time of this posting is between $25.00 to $30.00 an hour.
