Job Description:
Desired Characteristics:
- Five years minimum experience with warehousing and receiving components
- High School graduate, or general education degree required (GED)
- Three years minimum industry experience in manufacturing or transportation and/or training.
- Forklift certified.
Hourly Rate $25.00
What will your typical day look like? - Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in dispatching and assuring quality of goods
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
- Work on getting the HTS code updates in oracle.
- Commercial invoices validation to avoid any delays in custom clearance for export shipments
- Work with customs team to understand any Gaps in documentation
- Maintain items record, document necessary information and utilize reports to project Shipping status
- Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity through audit and correct material handling practices
- Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner and escalate as needed
- Track and report non-conforming product to ensure transactional integrity
- Ensure inventory transactions’ accuracy
- Maintains storage area by organizing floor space
- Maintains inventory by conducting daily cycle counts
- Demonstrate awareness and compliance of safety requirements in assigned work area for self and peers
- Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
- Confer and coordinate activities with other departments
