Title:
MLS and Technology Support Specialist Summary:

Serves as technical support for MLS operations for the Baldwin County Association of

REALTORS

®. Has the primary responsibility to resolve technical issues within BR including trouble shooting and resolving technical issues with staff, maintaining the BR server, and maintaining streaming and technical equipment in training room and ballrooms. Serves as MLS support, answering and troubleshooting calls from members concerning the MLS system. Duties and Responsibilities Provides keen oversight of the MLS and Technical needs of the Association. Ensures Inter-Office equipment, technology and services are operational and provides support to staff for problem solving. Works with IT vendor on Association IT needs and making sure software licenses, website and other technical licenses are in order. Evaluates new programs and products for implementation (to remain on the cutting edge of technology). Oversees and maintains all technical equipment for Association and MLS. Trains staff members as necessary on new products, services and troubleshooting. Responsible for setting up and maintaining streaming/recording equipment in ballrooms. Oversees and maintains building security system including video streaming and equipment. Is fully knowledgeable of the MLS Rules and Regulations, Lock Box Rules and Regulations and Policies of the BCAR and MLS. Trouble shoots, identifies, and successfully resolves MLS problems and communicates with MLS vendor to ensure members needs are met. Ensures the MLS Executive Officer and Association Executive Officer are informed of any problem with the system or membership. Stays informed with NAR and AAR and RESO technology initiatives and recommends appropriate integrations with association activities and MLS. Serves as backup for all data feeds and data vendor relations as well as the Paragon Account Management system. Performs data checks on members IDX websites to ensure vendor compliance. All other duties as assigned by Association Executive Officer and MLS Executive Officer.

Qualifications :

Understanding of Microsoft and a student of new technology Experience with troubleshooting in a small networking environment Strong customer support skills/experience Good Communicator and Team Player Reports to:

Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.,
