https://careers.evonik.com/en/about/meet-the-team/ This position reports both administratively and functionally to the ESHQ Engineer, supporting all departmental tasks with an emphasis on the Crosslinkers’ Leak Detection and Repair program. The candidate will contribute to the ESHQ department by assisting in the development and maintenance of programs and systems that ensure compliance in Environmental, Safety, Health, and Quality areas. Responsibilities include maintaining ESHQ-related records, coordinating compliance monitoring, and assisting in the preparation of periodic reports for various regulatory agencies. The ESHQ Engineer provides functional support and guidance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide support to ESHQ Engineer Support all unit LDAR activities: Assist with scheduling/coordinating/integrity of the LDAR monitoring program LDAR field guide for site LDAR Technician Perform LDAR program audits Maintain all environmental records including LDAR, visible emissions, thermal oxidizer, and flare data. Assist with all changes to the LDAR program via the MOC process: P&ID mark-up, field verification, rectification of errors, GuideWare maintenance Perform a weekly Housekeeping and Safety inspection; document these inspections, and follow up on action items to ensure timely resolution Maintain and ensure completeness of daily housekeeping records Maintain and ensure completeness of ladder inspection records and forklift inspection records Periodically audit fire extinguisher inspection records Perform monthly SPCC inspections document these inspections, and follow up on action items to ensure timely resolution Assist in maintaining documents and records which support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001standards and registration Participate in and lead incident investigations Assist in supporting the TPM/EPS Manager in driving the EHS EPS pillar and optimizing inspections and proactive EHS KPIs Assist with all periodic reporting to site and regulatory agencies: Title V, Greenhouse Gas Emissions, Tier II Reporting, NA ESH KPI, and ESG data reports Support safety and environmental process activities. Assist with updating ESHQ procedures and documents via Open Text Prepares and presents a Safety topic in the CX weekly communication meetings Maintain

database for Crosslinkers in ESHQ Engineer’s absence Assist with the maintenance of hazardous waste inspection records, and monitor for compliance with RCRA standards
REQUIREMENTS
Superior organization, leadership, and communication skills are required to meet the challenges of this position. Trainer and Moderator skills. Skilled in identifying opportunities for optimization and implementing ideas Proficiency with spreadsheet and data organization Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience required, BS in Environmental Science or equivalent in lieu of experience is acceptable Must be capable of working independently or with minimal supervision on multiple assignments/tasks.
