It is intended to provide a clear understanding of the position but is not an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities. The HSE Officer is responsible for implementing and monitoring the company’s health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The HSE Officer plays a critical role in fostering a culture of safety within the organization. Key Responsibilities •

Develop and Implement HSE Policies:

Design and enforce policies to establish a culture of health, safety, and environmental protection. •

Risk Assessment:

Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate mitigation measures. •

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all applicable HSE regulations and standards. •

Training and Education:

Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and contractors to ensure awareness and adherence to safety protocols. •

Incident Investigation:

Lead investigations of incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. •

Emergency Response:

Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure preparedness. •

Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports on HSE performance, incidents, and compliance activities. •

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in HSE practices and lead initiatives to enhance safety culture. •

Liaison:

Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, clients, and internal stakeholders on HSE matters. •

Sustainability Initiatives:

Promote environmental sustainability practices and initiatives within the organization. Preferred Skills Experience in conducting HSE training and workshops Strong project management skills Ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization Working Conditions This position may require occasional travel to various worksites Ability to work in both office and field environments Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:

$75,099.53 – $90,442.45 per year
