Apr 29, 2025 This position is in the Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) West Central District Office in Macon, Georgia. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: supervising the activities of Environmental Specialists; reviewing and approving letters, inspection reports and enforcement actions; and negotiating settlements of enforcement actions. Preferred Qualifications Preference may be given to applicants with the following experience: Demonstrated experience in state and federal government environmental compliance and enforcement programs, including Comprehensive Solid Waste and Air Quality Control Experience managing multi-disciplinary regulatory programs Demonstrated skills and ability in negotiation, influence, and conflict resolution Strong written and verbal communication skills This posting may close at any time prior to the posted close date once a suitable applicant pool is identified.
