The ideal candidate will have at least 4-5 years of experience providing air quality consulting services, including permitting and compliance. The successful candidate will work on a variety of interesting technical projects for clients in the oil & gas, power, technology, and chemical sectors throughout Louisiana and neighboring states. This position is an excellent career opportunity to work with an expert consulting team on challenging environmental management projects for large industrial clients. Responsibilities include environmental and regulatory compliance evaluations, project coordination, multi-media field sampling, and emergency response oversight following oil spills.
Qualifications:
MS or BS in Environmental or Engineering, or other related science field; Experience working as an environmental consultant (air, water, waste, risk); Experience in evaluating Louisiana and Federal air quality regulatory compliance; Experience in environmental compliance reporting, including compliance documentation, permit certifications, and auditing; Experience with initial applications, renewals, and revisions for a variety of permitting; Knowledge and experience with emission calculations, emissions inventory development, and emissions reporting; Chosen candidate must be willing to relocate if not currently in the immediate surrounding area; Must be able to satisfy all Drug & Alcohol, Health & Safety, and Security requirements, including obtaining a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card; Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written form; Ability to develop compliance solutions in a team environment, communicate those solutions to the client, regulatory agencies, and project staff; Proficient with MS Office programs; and Eager to excel as an individual and in a team environment.
