As an Environmental Entry, you will support environmental regulatory compliance efforts across air quality, water, waste, and chemical management within a complex industrial manufacturing operation. This is a long-term contract assignment.

Shift Information:
Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00
PM Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline; OR
4 years of related environmental compliance experience in an industrial manufacturing setting
Preferred Education and Experience:
6 months of internship or co-op experience
ISO 14001 EMS
Lead Auditor certification
General Requirements:
Basic knowledge of environmental management (air, wastewater, solid & hazardous waste, toxic chemical regulations)
Basic leadership, project management, communication, and teamwork experience
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Intermediate experience with customized databases and software
Basic experience with
ISO 14001 EMS
audits
Essential Functions:
Develop, present, and explain proposals, reports, and findings to management
Monitor new regulations, legislation, and permits; assess impacts and develop compliance strategies
Create process sheets and work instructions to support high environmental performance; communicate requirements and audit conformance
Create and conduct environmental training and awareness sessions
Complete compliance reporting for assigned environmental areas; collect data, calculate values, and submit reports to regulatory agencies
Maintain the environmental website and IT applications
Obtain environmental data, perform calculations, and prepare permit applications
Model VPS principles, adhere to 5S and Safety Standards
Perform other duties as assigned by management or
