This role entails managing and ensuring adherence to environmental regulations for our industrial sectors across the United States, placing particular emphasis on air quality regulations, including substantial source permitting and documentation. The successful applicant will collaborate directly with the Vice President of Environmental and must possess a strong background in industrial manufacturing, ideally within industries such as metals, automotive, or steel. The location is approximately 30 minutes northwest of downtown Nashville, TN, and requires up to 50% travel throughout the US. When not traveling, candidates can benefit from a hybrid work model, spending three days in the office and two days working from home.
Essential Qualifications:
Expertise in environmental compliance reporting Demonstrated experience with managing major air source reporting, including Title V permits, and guiding manufacturing facilities through permitting processes Proficiency in compliance testing, including RATA for facilities such as glass, paints, kilns, and dryers Knowledge of reporting under EPCRA TRI and Tier II Experience handling solid and hazardous waste compliance at both state and federal levels Familiarity with DMR water submissions, understanding the requirements on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
