Role:
The Recycle/Compliance/EP Tech Nights position is crucial for ensuring that our recycling processes and environmental compliance standards are met during night operations. This role involves monitoring and managing the recycling of materials, ensuring adherence to environmental regulations, and implementing best practices for waste management. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams to identify areas for improvement and ensure that all compliance measures are effectively communicated and executed. Additionally, this position will play a key role in training staff on compliance protocols and recycling procedures. Ultimately, the goal is to promote sustainability and reduce the environmental impact of our operations while maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in recycling operations or environmental compliance. Knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in environmental science, waste management, or a related field. Certification in hazardous waste management or recycling. Previous experience in a supervisory role within a recycling or compliance setting.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and oversee recycling operations during night shifts to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Conduct regular inspections of recycling processes and materials to identify non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement training programs on recycling and compliance best practices. Prepare and maintain accurate records of recycling activities and compliance audits. Assist in the development of strategies to improve recycling efficiency and reduce waste.

The required skills for this position include a strong understanding of environmental regulations and recycling processes, which will be applied daily to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. Attention to detail is essential for conducting inspections and maintaining accurate records, as even minor oversights can lead to significant compliance issues.
