Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the General Educational Development (GED) test, supplemented by college level courses in firefighting methods and techniques and hydraulics and two years experience at the level of Firefighter or Firemedic; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
