- Firefighter/EMT Base salary = $46,970
- FF/EMT – $16.17 per hour ($41,925 per year)
- Holiday pay ($5,045 per year)
- Shift consists of 24/48-hour work schedule (2,592 hours/year)

- Personal Fire Training allowance Minimum requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Valid Florida driver’s license
- Possess an EVOC certificate of completion
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Current State of Florida Bureau of Fire Standards and Training Minimum Standards Firefighter Certification
- Current State of Florida EMT Certification for EMT
- Current State of Florida Paramedic Certification for PM
- Special Requirements Tobacco use: Shall be a non-user of tobacco products for at least one year immediately preceding application, as evidenced by the sworn affidavit of the applicant (XXXVI Florida Statute, Chapter 633, Section 34)
