• Full-time Firefighter
• This position is responsible for performing responsible protective service work in fire suppression and in providing emergency medical care to save life and property.

• REQUIREMENTS

• Applicants must be a high school graduate, supplemented by required course work in emergency medical and firefighting techniques, and at least 1 year experience as a Probationary Firefighter
• And/or any equivalent combination of training and experience required to perform the essential functions
• Possession of a valid driver’s license
• Possession of a valid class B driver’s license or equivalent within twelve months of hire
• Possession of NC Firefighter I/ II certification preferred
• Possession of North Carolina EMR certification within twelve months of hire
• H azardous Materials Operations Plus certification preferred
• Completion of required ICS and NIMS certifications within twelve months of hire (ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-300, IS-700, IS-800)
