Job Summary:

The Surveillance Inspector will follow processes in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturer’s instructions for continued airworthiness. This includes service bulletins, service letters for performing preliminary hidden damage, in process and final inspections on civil aviation on aviation airworthiness directives, government and industry standard practices and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.

Incumbent is specifically responsible for:

Responsibilities:

Follow processes outlined in the manufacturer’s instructions for continued airworthiness, service bulletins, and industry standards. Perform preliminary hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections on civil aviation based on airworthiness directives. Perform Borescope inspections. Manage engine incoming receiving, inventory, and borescope. Conduct all module inspections and in-process signoffs. Issue shop disassembly, assembly, and final inspection paperwork. Ensure calibrated tools used during assembly are current. Perform troubleshooting, repair, and complete rework of parts and assemblies. Read and understand routers and OEM manuals. Minimum Qualifications (minimum knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies include but are not limited to): Powerplant License required. Borescope Experience required minimum of 3 years. Good written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in working with all hand tools and pneumatic tools. Knowledge of troubleshooting and repair of parts and concepts preferred. Ability to isolate failures, complete rework of parts, and perform within company quality standards. Ability to learn and perform basic repairs. Ability to read and understand routers and OEM manuals.

Physical Requirements:
