$29.3K – $34K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Filing RMF Entry level Full Job Description Job Purpose The RMF/Investigations Associate inspects all items returned by carriers, determines disposition and routes product to the appropriate area for proper resolution. Communicates the disposition of all customer-related pieces, as well as finalizes product for use in FLS showrooms. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Work with check in and bump freight inspector to assist in making dispositions. Research to determine if items returned are ordered incorrectly or if mfg shipping incorrectly or tagged incorrect. Research to determine if Account Manager has claim on file for RA’s and R&R’s. If not, assist by photographing anf filing claim. Enter items on pull list (for rep visits/photos/VRTN/trash). Process and key paperwork for returns, trash, shop, clearance and parts. Inspect product prior to rep visit/taking photos to verify defect. Contact Barnabus, TDF and Salvation Army to arrange pick up of affected products. Processes necessary paperwork for these products to be shot to appropriate location. Handles paperwork to process trashed items placed in dumpster. Assists gallery managers with any defective items in their galleries. Files claims and obtains RA’s with MFR’s as needed for gallery products. Take photos for mfg who don’t visit, email to MFR for disposition/RA. Contact manufacturer’s for price and availability on parts Order stock parts and track as needed working with sales and other departments. Process shop paperwork Arrange carrier pick up’s Phone or email to follow up on RA requests. After obtaining RA paperwork, pull products from service racks to vendor returns. Handle various miscellaneous calls/emails from MFR when they don’t know who to contact. Work with management and accounting to insure we receive the apporpriate credits and allowances for defective product. Stage, scan , and complete all paperwork for donation bays Assist’s customer service associates with any MFR issues to ensure we secure necessary approvals for RA’s and R&R’s. Other duties as assigned by supervisor and / or manager. Be open to suggest any ideas for improvement. Arrive punctually and consistently for work for normally scheduled hours. Preform various related duties as required. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Assists with shipping freight and organizing paperwork for common carriers to return products to vendors. The job duties are not limited to the items as described above, duties can be added or changed at any given time. Working Conditions This job is an onsite position that operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers and smartphones. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
