Candidate will work for and with family law partners with heavy caseloads and must be willing and able to take direction from firm’s founding partner and act independently once given assignments. Cases range from domestic violence injunctions to high asset divorces at the trial and appellate levels. Candidate must be highly motivated, have a strong work ethic, and be willing to learn. While office hours are nine to five, success in this practice will require work beyond those hours. Some family law experience is preferred and all levels of experience from recent bar passers who have worked in family law to those with books of business are encouraged to apply. Candidates without family law experience, but with litigation experience and an interest in family law, are encouraged to apply. This position provides a great opportunity for growth. While expectations are high for performance and willingness to work, employer is flexible in many ways. Benefits include health insurance premium reimbursement and retirement plan matching.
