The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in family law. This role requires excellent legal research skills and the ability to litigate effectively on behalf of our clients. The Associate Attorney will work closely with senior attorneys to support case management and provide high-quality legal services. Responsibilities Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support case preparation. Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, advocating for their best interests. Assist in the development of case strategies and provide recommendations based on legal analysis. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact clients in areas such as securities law and tribal law regulations. Collaborate with clients to gather information, explain legal processes, and provide guidance throughout their cases. Manage a caseload efficiently while maintaining high standards of client service and communication. Experience Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction. Experience or coursework in family law is required. Proficiency in legal research methodologies and tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective client interaction and representation. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively with a team of attorneys and support staff. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
